During the four weeks we stayed in Mount Hagen we did a lot of children"s programs. We would meet each day to discuss, and plan each program.
Once we had our plan it was time to put it into action. Some days we would go to a school, and do an R.E (Religious Education) class. We always picked a theme for each program, God's love, Making a difference, Purpose, ect. Working with this theme we would tell and act out bible stories, and tell testimonies. We would also mix in some funny skits or songs as ice breakers.
Besides R.E classes we went to a little church down the road and helped the YWAM staff with a children's ministry they ran everyday. The goal of this ministry was to help teach the children English, while also teaching them about God.. I loved working with his ministry. The children at these programs were usually younger then the children at the schools. We spent a lot of time playing games and acting out bible stories for them and with them.
