An Australian Sunrise.

One morning my roommate Katy and I decided to wake up early and walk to the river to watch the sunrise. When we arrived at the river we found a nice place on the dock to sit and wait for the sun to come up. As we waited we watched the jellyfish swimming in the river.

These jellyfish are wanna be ballerinas, they spin around and around in a circle and this slowly moves them forward. It was very interesting to watch.

While we waited we also photographed these flowers we picked on the walk there.
                                                       Finally the sun appeared.

These clouds looked like they were reflecting off the bottom of the river and not the surface. I really wanted to reach into the river and try to touch them, but the presence of jellyfish prevented me from doing so.
We stayed until the sunrise was over. Then we stood up and started to walk away, when suddenly there was a big SPLASH! I asked Katy what was that? She replied jokingly "maybe it was the swan river monster". We walked back to the edge of the dock, and when we got to the end two dolphins surfaced right at our feet. They quickly dove back under and swam off, we saw them jumping farther down the river and begged them to come back and play near us but they refused our offer. When all the excitement was over we started off once again for home.
On the way back we picked some more flowers to take home with us.
